Habit # 1: Prayer
Recently I heard my Bishop say that Prayer is an "Earthly License for Heavenly interference."
I can't say I have seen a definition of prayer as profound as this. It reminds me of the insurance industry. In order for a company to do business in a particular state, it has to be admitted, meaning, it has to receive a certificate (license) of authority
No wonder II Peter 1:5 says, "for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue...."
Prayer unleashes virtue (Divine Energy) from our certified and authorized heavenly (spiritual) being into our earthly realm.
