This past weekend (August 29, 2020) no matter how much I tried to stop, I could not, ..... the tears just kept pouring out of my eyes. I couldn't understand, why did the passing of actor, Chadwick Boseman hit me so hard. Yes, he was a fellow, Howard University alum, but that can't be the reason.
Then it hit me today (August 31) the day before my birthday (September 1) that the blow was similarly devastating when I heard the news of Kobe Bryant's passing.
But Why? Why were they similarly devastating?
Because they embraced their God-given gift and were completely committed to serving it with excellence to humanity.
So to all the fans out there, I have a message for you. If you want to cry, go on and cry. God will wipe away all your tears. But know that it doesn't end there. There shall be no more death for Kobe and Chadwick because their legacy lives on!
