If you ask most folks what is the opposite of distraction they will say focus. But that is not true. Why? Because the opposite of distraction is traction.
Let's Prove This
While distraction is being pulled away from what you planned to do, traction is being pulled into what you planned to do. The common thread here is "pulled."
Matthew 6:22
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. [KJV]
So can we live in the light but not walk in the light? In other words, can we live in the Spirit and not walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25), That's a million-dollar question, and the answer is yes, if we are distracted (pulled away) by the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
Much of the messages of Christendom today are based on living in the Light, but if we are to live AND walk in the Light, our mind, will, and emotion must be pulled into (be in traction with) the light and knowledge of our renewed spirit.
So, on a scale of 1 - 10 (where 10 is fully indistractable) how indistractable are you?
