Matthew 7:7
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
I am certain that this is a very familiar verse to many. What amazes me however is that the words ask and seek, are communicating the same message.
Please don't take my word for it.
In Colossians 3:1, for example, the word seek means to crave for by asking.
The word knock is basically telling us "don't let up in your asking"
James reminds us, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God ...." - James 1:5
There is no master key to walking in the light, but there is a combination lock. The three-letter word, "ASK" is one of the combinations.
