Self Control

It has been purported that Emotional Intelligence is one of the most important factors when it comes to leading effective teams.

42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Matthew 25

I have always wondered why won't Jesus simply give us a nudge to say, "dude, it's me, Jesus............ I'm the one you did not feed ..... I'm the one you did not offer a drink ..... I'm the one you did not clothe ......I'm the one you did not visit."

I compare that with what occurs or crosses our mind when someone does not visit us, does not return our phone call, does not ...... how quick we are to judge the other person or express to the other person our feelings.

I TRULY believe that most of the time we do not have to tell someone that they have disappointed us. They already know. So when we express to them our disappointment is that for their benefit or for ours.

Self-control is conveying the right message to the right person, in the right tone, at the right time. The chance of that happening is less than 8%

Matthew 25:42,43 is a classic example of Self Control.
