Hello, loyal readers! I pray that you have been learning, growing, and expanding in all your areas of influence. I believe as we journey together, we are internationally impacting others with our mindset transformations. We are attaining new perspectives that are bringing life to our ever-changing environment.

I have pondered a question that has stirred within me for a couple of days now. The question is this, “What motives have been the driving force in what I do? Before I was able to consider the answer to this question, I needed to investigate the definition of the word motive. My desire is to truly answer honestly to myself by going to the root of the word itself.

According to Oxford Languages, the definition of motive is a reason for doing something, especially one that is hidden or not obvious. Another meaning is something (such as need or desire) that causes a person to act. This last one speaks volumes. Motives are the underlying reasons for the actions you take and the words you say.

No one can tell me or you what our motives are. Many may try to understand and uncover, but the only one who can know the real reason for doing what has, is, or will be done is oneself. To understand this, first and foremost, will enable me to elaborate with you my discovery of the answer to the question.

Someone once said, “People have two reasons for doing anything- a good reason and the real reason.” It is important to have the good reason and real reason be both. Why? One will not be deceived. Sooner or later, the real reason will be exposed. Stay tuned, we will continue in the next blog!

Hello, loyal readers! I read a statement that not only did I read it, but I also spoke it out loud. The quote said, “In the middle of crisis, their lies opportunity.” This quote made me ponder more deeply. Why? Because it speaks that there is a treasure in the center of difficulty. This treasure, when you look for it, will make you see things in a different perspective.

According to the dictionary, opportunity is defined as a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success. How can you see this in the midst of your crisis? First, take time to reflect on what you are trying to overcome. By writing down the problem and possible solutions, you are facing it head on.

This will allow your mind to become clearer because you are transferring your thoughts to a piece of paper. Write down the question, “how else can I achieve what I desire to do or attain?” Once you have exhausted your answers, ask someone experienced for wise counsel. An objective wise person will provide a greater insight you may have not yet considered.

Finally, put into action the steps you have determined would be the best option for your circumstance. However, remember to always have several backup plans. If it does not work as you had anticipated, no worries. Don’t halt! Use your backup plans until you succeed.

With determination, you will gain strength to find more creative ways for your situation. You will humbly seek advice from wise people you trust. Your inquisitive mind will discover new approaches for the challenge. The heart will be encouraged by your achievable actions. As your perceptive turns to the opportunity in the middle of your crisis, you will become unstoppable!

“Know that (skillful and godly) wisdom is (so very good) for your life and soul; if you find wisdom, then there will be a future and a reward, and your hope and expectations will not be cut off.” Proverbs 24:14

Hello, loyal readers! Did you know that your voice is as unique as your fingerprints? There is no one else that sounds just like you. It may be almost as precise as your tone, pitch, and quality but never exact. This is why they can use voice recognition in many of the most sophisticated systems for verification.

What makes our voice unique? There are endless variations when we speak that give clues about who we are, what we do, and where we’re from. It is not just about what is said, but how you say it. Our choice of words, sentence structures, and even our use of humor are wrapped in the uniqueness of it.

It will convey the assurance and authority of what you are expressing or lack thereof. When you know who you are and who you are speaking to, it will reflect the importance and impact on those that will hear you. Be conscious of this truth.

Be intentionally impactful with your message. Know beforehand what is the outcome of what you desire to have on others. Let it be a transformative and enriching conversation for everyone involved. Leave a lasting impression for all to remember fondly.

You may not know the profound effect your voice will have on someone who is hurting, discouraged, brokenhearted, hopeless, or confused. Your voice may activate and stir their spirits to come out of the dark and into the ray of a brighter, loving, hopeful, and renewed tomorrow. Let your unique voice be released today!
